Sophie started teaching for Top Hat Hertfordshire as a resident Singing and Tiny Toppers teacher. Sophie has taught performing arts to children for over ten years for many different stage schools across the country and has been the principle of Top Hat Midlands since it opened in January 2016. Sophie has helped many children to get into stage school and West End productions.

Sophie trained at Hertfordshire Theatre School studying a three-year Musical Theatre Course, she then went on to train at the prestigious Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in Musical theatre in a post graduate Musical Theatre Course.

After graduating, she worked in many professional productions including Cinderella, Princess Jasmine in Aladdin and Alice Fitzwarren in Dick Whittington for PMA Productions. She also played Trisha in the UK tour of ‘The Naked Truth’ starring Maureen Nolan and Nikki Sanderson; Cousin Hebe in a UK open air tour of HMS Pinafore and many short films
