Top Hat Stage School History

TOP HAT was established in 1994 and has since grown and developed into Hertfordshire’s leading and most successful independent stage school. TOP HAT continues to be the first rung of the ladder for hundreds of aspiring young actors and actresses, many having successfully pursued television or the stage as their full time career. Rupert Grint (Ron from Harry Potter) attended our Hertford weekend stage school. Ed Westwick (Chuck from Gossip Girl) attended our Stevenage Stage school. Our main ethos however, is to provide “Quality performing arts training”, whilst having fun in the process.

Principals Warren Bacci & Andy Musgrove

Warren Bacci & Andy Musgrove bought Top Hat Stage School in 2008 after Warren had worked with the company for a number of years. Bringing a new vision to the company they have continually pushed the business forward and growing it to where the business stands today.

Top Hat remains to this day an independantly owned company with each of its sister locations owned and run by previous teachers and family members that know and appreciate the ethos and drive behind Top Hats success and its drive for the future.
