Denise is an actress, writer and theatre teacher who has been living in Rome for 22 years. During this time she has collaborated extensively with RAI Scuola as a writer and actress for programmes such as “Tracy and Polpetta”, Magic Wonderland, Shakespeare Class, Christmas Tales from America and others. She has also written for the BBC and for the Miracle Players theatre company, where she is also the Artistic Director. She has taught theatre and, LAMDA courses, for the Italian state schools, private international schools and the prestigious Accademia Nazionale D’Arte Drammatica Silvio D’Amico. She also has acted in numerous films and televisions series, including the Medici, The Devils, Natale a Londra et al. She is working in theatre with “Women Crossing” and has also appeared with the English theatre in Rome, most recently as Queen Margaret in Richard III.
She is pleased to be collaborating with St. Georges in this exciting new venture as she finds teaching students a constant source of inspiration which fuels all aspects of her creative endeavours.
