Marc Goldstein

Drama Teacher

Marc started his training at the University of Hertfordshire where he gained a Higher National Diploma in Performance, Entertainment and Media Production. He then continued his studies, winning the prestigious ‘ Tony Weizmann’ Scholorship award and gained a First Class BA (Hons) Degree in Performing Arts, continuing his training at the Central School of Speech and Drama, achieving both a joint Diploma and MA in Musical Theatre.
His performance career began in theatre in 2003 where his credits include: playing the role of Mac in Threepenny Opera (Watford Theatre), the role of Lucius in Faustus (Elgiva Theatre) and the role of Aladdin (Elgiva Theatre). He also performed at ‘Broadway and Beyond’ at Madame Tussards, London.
Making his West End debut in We Will Rock You (UK Tour), his performance credits continued and include Mammia Mia! (London ,Ensemble), Chicago (UK Tour, Ensemble), Wicked (London, Ensemble), High School Musical (understudy ‘Troy’, National Tour) and Spirit of Broadway (UK Tour).
Directing credits include: Hairspray (Arts Depot,London), Mamma Mia (Camden Arts Depot, London), Julius Caesar (Travellers Theatre) Class of ’58 (Harrow Arts Centre), Beauty and The Beast - Pantomime (Harrow Arts Centre) and in 2012 he directed performers for the Olympic Closing Ceremony.
Radio work includes: Essex FM, BX- FM, JNET Radio and BBC London.
Teaching positions held have included Head of Drama (Albany College, London) as well as Head of Drama and Musical Theatre's for the Resident Company at Harrow Arts Centre. Current roles include LAMDA and Drama Teacher for Independant Preparatory Schools as well as running his own Performing Arts School, regularly entering students for examinations through Trinity, LAMDA and the ISTD.
