Top Hat is a finalist to win an award at the annual FSB Business Awards. We are up for “Stevenage Business of the Year 2016”.
Another new branch of Top Hat will be opening this September 2016. Run by current Herts teachers Anna Gamester & Melissa Cursons, the school will take place every Saturday 10am-1pm (10am-12 for 4-5 years) in Harlow. They are also running a summer school in August where children aged 4-17 will put on Matilda in just 3 days. This takes place: Monday 22nd - Wed 24th August 2016. We can’t wait until our next West End show, when Top Hat Essex and Midlands will be joining us as well as Top Hat Surrey!
We are so excited to announce that we now have a Top Hat Midlands Branch. The school is run by ex-Top Hat Herts teacher Sophie Shorter and runs every Saturday morning 10am-1pm in Telford. Their Top Hat branding colour is orange. Midlands will also be opening a 2nd Saturday school in Shrewsbury from September 2016.
Top Hat Potters Bar student Lewis Fernee, 9, has been cast in the UK our production of “Mary Poppins”. He has been cast as Michael Banks and we are so proud off him!
Our Elite a Capella choir “TopTrix” performed a collection of Christmas songs as well as Pop mash ups at various Christmas Light events across Hertfordshire. Events included: Welwyn Lights, St Albans, Wheathampstead, Hatfield Town Centre & Hatfield Galleria. More pics on page
New Stevenage AM school finished off their first term with an end of term show of “Dorothy & the Wicked Wizz”, an new adaptation of the famous tale written by Andy Musgrove.
Britain’s Got talent finalists “Twist & Pulse” popped in for the grand opening of our new Stevenage AM morning just before Christmas. They also hung around to run a fun street dance workshop. Over 50 Top Hat students took part and it was a great success.
Congratulations to all our Scholarship winners for 2016. We saw over 400 children and the winning students have now started Top Hat. A few mayors also came along to award the chosen winners.
