Katie Clapham


Katie started dancing at the age of three at the North London dance studios, Winchmore Hill. She studied Ballet, Tap and Modern gaining her graded qualifications up to Intermediate Level. She then continued her training at the Herford Regional College gaining a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts and Drama. Katie then went on to gain her teaching qualifications in Imperial Ballet, Tap, Modern Theatre and National Dance at the Penny Meeking’s dance college. Katie also gained her vocational graded examinations up to Advanced Two level. Katie has been teaching for over 15 years teaching all ages from Pre-school to adults. Katie has taught at several different dance schools and colleges across London and Hertfordshire including the Italia conti school of performing arts in London, Splitz School of Dance, Bodens School of Performing Arts and Chase Side School of Dance. Katie is now joint principal of the Step 2 Step dance academy based in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire. Katie has been a teacher at the Top hat stage school for eight years.
